So originally when Facebook went more public-ish, I didn't want the change because then I figured Facebook would end up just as sketchy as all the other myspace-ish sites. It didn't really end up that way and I have yet to receive a sketchy message on my wall.
But sometime possibly worse happened.... my cousins in Arkansas got Facebook.
Now I rarely see these cousins because it's not that often that we all manage to make our way to Hickville New York at the same time, so I think I've managed to somehow keep my liberal and mildly anti-organized religion opinions to myself. But now I'm getting invites to join clubs like "Jesus is better than drugs," and 'if you pass this on to 10 people, Jesus loves you' types of facebook chain mail.
Question of the day: I turned down the invite to the "Jesus is better than drugs" club... does this imply I think drugs are in fact better than Jesus?
